When it’s time to update your Moov’s HR™ firmware, you will be prompted with the message “Firmware update required” when you connect to a Moov HIIT workout. Press “Update” to continue. When you are prompted to update the firmware, it needs to be updated before you can start your workout. This update will take about 15 minutes.
You can also check for firmware updates manually by going into your Moov app → Settings → Update Firmware → Then follow the instructions.
The next screen will give you important information about completing your firmware. Read the instructions and then press “Continue” at the bottom. Make sure the Moov HR sensor is placed on the charger and the charger is powered on before you proceed. Select the Moov HR you would like to update on the connection screen.
Select “UPDATE FIRMWARE” to start the update. You will see the percentage start counting towards 100%. When updating the firmware, make sure:
The Moov HR sensor is on the charger, and the charger is powered on
Bluetooth on the phone is turned ON
The Moov Coach app is open
Moov HR™ is kept near your phone.
Once it’s complete, you’ll receive the message “Firmware up to date”. It is very important that you let the update finish. This can take up to 15 minutes.
If you have any issues connecting your device, or if the screen freezes during the update, please remove the Moov HR sensor from the charger and place it back on the charger to reconnect the device. Wait about 10 seconds for the device to reset and try the firmware update again.
