What is HIIT Training?

HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, alternates between intense bursts of activity and periods of recovery. Adjusting the durations of the activity and recovery, allows you to adjust the difficulty of each workout. HIIT training is the most effective way to exercise and provides many health benefits. Both the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Heart Association (AHA) recommend high intensity workouts for staying healthy.

Combining HIIT training with a heart rate monitor means that you are always pushed to the right intensity for you. This means you get results faster, in a shorter workout, and you can then move on with your day.
